#MTBoSBlaugust 27: Go Formative ... a cool site!

Today I introduced absolute value functions using estimating the gallons of coffee in the world's largest coffee cup 3-act math task.  Kids got into the activity!

Then we practiced building absolute value functions - identifying the two linear functions; restricted the domain and range, and wrote the absolute value function.  We used +Formative !  It was awesome!

Activities are super easy to build.  From the teacher's view you can see the whole class, mark work, and project individual work anonymously to discuss in class.
